Inviting all Generations Into God’s Family

And welcome to our home page.  Consider this the front door to  a virtual reality open house.  Check out all the rooms.   In the living room you’ll find inspiring and relevant worship, in the family room a place to connect more personally with people.  Our house has a training room to grow and improve, and everybody has the opportunity to get involved in the work shop.
Many people describe Trinity Church like a home and an extended family.  So if you’re looking for a place to belong, to become and come to believe,  you might find it through Trinity Church.  Wander around our website.  Better yet, come in person.  You might just find yourself at home.

Our Mission and Vision

Our Mission is to invite all generations into God’s family.  We’re compelled first of all by Christ’s love for us.  In return we love God through worship,  the world through mission, each other through community, and root ourselves in Christ through discipleship.  We envision two “super powers” making us a dynamic community – the great commandment (love God and love others), and the great commission (make disciples).   These came straight from Jesus himself!

At Home with God and Each Other
Worship gatherings create a unique time to connect with God. Through traditional and contemporary music, prayers, Bible readings, and a relevant message we experience God. We celebrate our life in God with order and spontaneity in a style that has form but isn’t formal. There may even be times of laughter. We may shed a tear. Exactly what your wear isn’t important – being there is what matters.

Jesus has called us to be and to make disciples. But what exactly does a disciple look like? In this series we are going to explore the 9 attributes of a disciple using D.I.S.C.I.P.L.E.S. as an acronym.

Return to the Lord – Lent Series

In the Book of Joel, we find an invitation: “Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and He relents over disaster” (Joel 2:13). During this season of Lent, we will consider the theme “Return to the Lord” and examine how the call to return played out in practical ways for the people who walked alongside Christ.

As if the political divisiveness weren’t enough, we’re struggling to stay united in the church too.  Our denomination, the Reformed Church in America is on the verge of dividing.  Why is this happening?  Can’t we just maintain a “functional diversity” as some have proposed, or is it neither wise nor Biblical to maintain fellowship with those who promote sin as other say.  In this series, we’ll seek Biblical guidance to these pressing questions.
This four-week series addresses one of the most pressing issues for many Christians today: the image problem of the church. Do we need to “rebrand” our ministry for a world that has increasingly negative perceptions of the Christian faith? Or, should our makeover be more than cosmetics? Could our image problem be a love problem? This series explores these ideas by examining the factions in the church at Corinth and contrasting their behavior with the believers in Acts.
There is a popular saying: “Share the gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words.” This four-week sermon series guide covers how to share the Gospel in practical ways by studying the methods of our greatest evangelism model, Jesus Christ. The world needs to know Jesus, and it is absolutely necessary for us to be able to share His story.
What happens when the future we envisioned doesn’t come to pass. We all had high hopes for 2020 but some of us have had to change our plans. God had other things in mind. When things go terribly bad, how can we trust God? Let’s take a deep dive into what it means to make plans, how we should follow God’s plans for us, and whether or not those can be aligned together.
The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever …                         – Psalm 33:10-11a
Let’s find out how important a Jewish prayer called the Shema is for us today. The prayer comes from Deuteronomy 6:4-9 where the Bible says, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates
Maybe you’ve gained a new appreciation for being with people. Still, you haven’t forgotten the risks and hazards of relationships. Now we can literally make each other sick.
Race and racism has risen to the top of the social agenda again. Many passionate voices are raised up. As Christians we seek God’s voice. The Bible is our authoritative revelation of God’s will. Let’s hear what scripture may tell us about race and racism.
Pastor Randy speaks very much to the times with this message entitled, “God & Government.” He asks the very important question, should we follow what our government asks us to do no matter what?
Pastor Wally brings a heartfelt message on Mother’s Day for all to hear! Not only can biological mother’s celebrate the day, but spiritual mother’s as well!
This four-week series explores characters from the Bible who experienced seasons of fear—the “in-between” trials of life. Job, Daniel, Abraham, Paul and the disciples all experienced times of frustration, pain, suffering, and difficult questions. We too experience these difficult, fearful times, and it’s vital that even in the midst of hard circumstances the church retains its faith in God to carry us through.
This three-part series calls us to be a blessing during crisis. It was the first series Pastors Randy and Wally delivered at the beginning of the pandemic to teach us How God Can Use Crisis To Bless Us!

Nothing feels more like home than a place where people know your name, and your story.   A place begins to feel like home when you’re part of the family.  Worship is a great place to start, but if you want more space to get to know people, you’ve got to move into the family room.  Here’s a few place where you can tell your story, and hear some good ones too.

You’re Invited into the Family Business!

Jesus made his heavenly Father’s business clear in “the two Greats” – the great Commandment, and the Great Commission.   The great Commandment is to love God and each other.  The Great Commission is to make disciples and teach people to follow Jesus.

Every good home is a place to grow up.  As disciples of Jesus, we always have opportunities to grow in understanding,  faith and character.  Our hope is that all people connected to Trinity Church are becoming passionate disciples and are being transformed by the Word of God.
